22nd November 2024 was another great night!
2024 and the format is set with another Ceilidh with Clachan Yell at the grand Beach Ballroom, fine supper and a great time had by all. This year we were supporting two great charities; Charlies House and Big Noise – Torry.
Charlies House are raising funds for to build a specialist care facility for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, right here in the North-East of Scotland. This was their Buy a Brick campaign. Big Noise – Torry, lead by Lorna Carruthers, rose to the challenge of orchestrating Pink Floyd’s Another Brick in the Wall, see below. The skilful scholars then played their part in the ceilidh dancing and evening.

I hope this message finds you very well. I just wanted to thank you, and all at AC Ceilidh, once again for your amazing support and fundraising efforts last November. We truly appreciate that you thought of Big Noise Torry to be one of the recipients, and this kind donation will make a big difference to the lives of many children and young people who our inspirational Big Noise Torry musicians work with year-round.
It has been lovely to meet you and Vicki at our events and I do hope we can welcome you both again soon.
